3 buses later we arrived and immediately liked this town. Pretty and everyone is happy out! We stayed in Innes house- she owns the 'other' Spanish school in Bocas and has another one here in her home. She's the most wonderful lady, so welcoming and friendly. We chilled out and prepared ourselves for the next day of rafting! Rafting was so much fun! It took us most of the day- we came down from 400m to about 40m I think, through primary jungle with jaguars and lots of other amazing animals. We spotted some; white herons, other herons, a sun bird- amazingly beautiful wings, an iguana, the iridescent blue butterfly...and we passed lots of wild banana trees with those beautiful flowers, lots of waterfalls everywhere and saw the homes of the indigenous Indian people. And then there was the actual rafting! What fun! I must saw that just before I fell out I was kinda hoping that it would happen, which I guess was a good thing as Leanne got a bit of a fright. The guys that brought us out were so nice and knowledgeable and it was great to hang out with them for the day. Plus the prepared the moist amazing lunch from nowhere!! Altogether a great day and I can't wait to do it again sometime :)
