Took a while and a few trains to get up into the High Tatras mountain range on the border of Slovakia and Poland, and we stayed in a ski resort type place where we planned a few walks, helped by a lovely Slovakian woman on the train. We were rained out the first day but the next day was wonderful, lakes, forests, hiking through autumn leaves and mountains. So nice to be out of the cities for so long.

All things going well and have realized we only have one month left before the Trans-Siberian train trip, seems to have flown by!
