We headed out to Eger for some of their famous wine. Eger is famous for it was the furthest point the Ottomans made it into Central Europe. During the Battle for Eger, the King of Eger fed his soldiers red wine, the Turkish saw this and thought it was Bulls blood so still today they call the Red wine from Eger "Bulls Blood". Today the wine is sold in a less than romantic way (see the photo with Heidi holding a water bottle full of wine straight from the cask).
