In a cafe at 6am waiting for the apparently scheduled bus to Dhermi, a guy asked if he could drive us, so we said yep! We chatted in pigeon English and he stopped for photos over the beautiful mountain pass. We found the Albanians to be the most generous and kind people we have met on this trip. They have nothing but will give you everything.

Dhermi didn"t disappoint, we stayed for three glorious days worshippinjg the sun, white (almost virgin) beaches and swimming in beautiful clear water. We ate seafood from our hotel"s balcony dirt cheap and had beers watching the sunset. The coast line here, and the Albanian people we met all along the way were definately worth the trip to Albania alone.
