Top Ten Holiday park Oamaru

We left early went to Sandymount road and saw an amazing Chasm in the cliffs then drove on to Dunedin where we collected Laura's Possum and Marino wool cardigan and Dave had his hair cut by a Dutch hairdresser. We bought provisions and then set off along highway one towards Oamaru. En route we stopped at Palmerston for our packed lunch. We later stopped at Shag Point and saw 60 Fur Seals basking on the rocks, with Artic Turns, Red Beaked Gulls, Black Backed Gulls, Oyster catchers and other birds. 
 We arrived at Moeraki Boulders town where we explored. Dave had visited 7 years earlier and it was a bit tired looking otherwise there was no change. We stopped off at Moeraki Cafe for tea and cake, Laura loved the view of the boulders nestling in the sand. We completed our journey to the Top Ten Holiday Motel, booked in, did laundry and then went out for a meal. Lovely meal great evening .
