Grand Cay is one settlement in the Bahamas about 30 minutes flight from Freeport heading northeast to Walker's Cay and then 30 minutes boat ride east of Walker's Cay.

Dr. Burgos is there for a cancer screening program and I decided to join him. We were met by the community health worker, Dolly and community health nurse, Prince Okon.

The island is not a beach type of island, it is surrounded by rock and from east to west will take you about 15 minutes walk.

In the island I saw turtle's hoods being dried up and polished for use as wall decors. I got to eat barracuda, it's tasty, well, for me it is still a fish, and luckily for me, I was not poisoned by it. Barracuda is very notorious in the islands as a source of ciguatera poisoning as well as rockfish.

A bar in the island had made a water fence below it and has turtles, groupers, lobsters and bonefishes in it. It's their own adaptation of Atlantis in Nassau

It was just an overnight stay, however, on our way back to Freeport, I had an opportunity to take the co-pilot's seat, that was awesome.
