Where I stayed
I woke up just in time for the scheduled bus pick up and spent 2 hours inside the bus picking up other tour participants. It was a bus-ful of entrapped tourists.
It was a two hour bus ride west aouthwest of Rio de Janeiro followed by a three inter-island trip via a schooner. Lunch, I think, was purposedly served around 2:30 pm so that people would be ordering appetizers on board the boat.
The island trips are not that exciting either. We started from a good island beach to a dirty 4-5 meters anchor drop dock for snorkeling (which they call Blue Lagoon, pathetic)and later a to few meters long and 5-10 meters wide strip of beach which is ugggh, never got excited to swim or even wet my feet. After 5 minutes of looking, I decided to walk back to the schooner and hoping that I get back to my hotel earlier.
Anyway, I enjoyed diving from off the boat, the big shrimps are muito delicioso but expensive at 19 reais for half the order, about 6-7 shrimps.
This was a 90 reais worth of trip including hotel transfers, schooner ride and lunch. Drinks, appetizers and dessert are additional.
The whole trip lasted for almost 12 hours of entrapment.
This inter-island trip reminds me of the Hundred Islands boat ride in Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines which has more plusses than this one.
