Where I stayed
No visit to Rio is complete without a visit Cristo Redentor Statue at the top of the Corcovado Hill.
We did not ride the cogwheel train. Instead, we took the private tour for BR 40.00, which is BR4.00 more than the cogwheel train.
The train will take you straight to the statue. However, the private tour took us first to a helipoint and another spot which is actually worth it. We get to see more sceneries as compared to the cogwheel train, which according to others, you will not see anything but forest, I do not know.
Anyway, photo-ops here is kind of difficult because of the number of people.
On the way home was a long walk, along the coastline from Flamengco Beach to Botofogo Beach and had some pictures taken with the Pao de Azucar at the background. We then continued walking towards Copacabana and called it a day.
I will go back to see Jesus, before I leave Rio, for good voyage.
