Arriving in Nah Trang in the rain we find a nice hotel and head to the beach during the only sunny break for the day. Its been raining so much that when Hannah & Sophie head to the water to soak their feet the waves are so strong they knock over Hannah and almost pull her out to sea. Sophie goes over to help her up and is taken down as well while her flip flops are swept away with the current. Watching them chase them down the shore is hilarious!

The grey skies foster a lack of motivation and instead of doing any sightseeing we watch a few movies in the room during the rain storm. Tonight we meet up with Hannah and Amber for drinks and then we hit the town for a fun night out. Poor Dan must be sick of being the only guy with all these women around, or is he? We hit up the Sailors Club which is quite possibly the nicest bar I've been to in a while. Well it was until the cockroaches crawled out from under the table and through the sand finding their way to Hannah. Switching tables and clearing our minds with a couple bottles of Champagne and some berry mojitos we quickly forget about the creatures and dance the night away. Thanks Pervy Pete for the drinks but we just had to go before Amber fell asleep at the bar.

Walking the boardwalk we decide to see the white sitting Buddha. This statue is 79 ft tall and is visible from all over the city. Just below it is the giant lying Buddha and also the Long Son Pagoda. Sophie and I sit inside the bell and receive a blessing while the man rings the bell. It was loud but not as loud as I thought it would be. There are so many carvings on the inside of the bell but its hard to read them as the bell rings. Relaxing in the mud baths and hot spring pools after this while we wish for sun.
