Because we didn't take our planned train to Jodhpur, it was not possible for us to go all the way through in one trip, so we broke the journey at Jaipur, which is the capital of the state of Rajasthan. After finding accommodation for the night near to the bus station for our early morning trip the next day, we went out to explore the city.

We were walking along passed the usual cows and not taking any notice, when out of the blue one of the cows butted Avan a really sharp blow, which resulted in a huge bruise! We take the cows very seriously now and give them a wide berth!
