We had quite a long day travelling from Lisbon to Madrid but the journey was broken in the afternoon for a visit to Salamanca.

On to Madrid the capital of Spain, but a fairly laid back capital. Our hostel had a very social atmosphere and even flamenco dancing lessons! We looked around at a few of the sights but took it a little easy, in preparation for our upcoming camping trip in Morocco.
