Muttaburra is the geographical center of Queensland and the road in is long and dusty. The towns other claim to fame is that it has a dinosaur named after it, after the remains of a previously undocumented specimen were discovered nearby. We spent the night in Muttaburra's free camp site, situated in the main street and went down to the pub for a meal, this resulted in us staying to stumps and in being given a lift back to our camp by one of the locals!.

Hi I am one of the biggest land owners outat mutaburra I own 500,000 acres of land the muttaburrasuares was found in roseburry one of the stations i own. The other day 2 days back now there was a huge fire out there on roseburry. Hope you had a good time. Hope you come back but next time i would stay in the motel its cheaper if u know the person who wroks there luckily i do lol.
