Oslo and seljord

Got up late and headed for Oslo. Struggled to find carpark in town but eventually we did and some kind woman in a Burqa gave us her ticket for 2 hours parking. There seems to be alot of muslims in Oslo. Tim was in search of the Denmark V Netherlands game. We decided that Oslo didn't have any points of interest to us so we went into a cafe where the game was being shown. I ordered a focaccia which turned out to cost $23 and it was SMALL!! Just shows how expensive Norway is. Watched a lacklustre game and left.
We picked a route from Oslo and headed off toward Bergen.
Not long out of Oslo we stopped to see our first Stave church at Heddal. It was an unusual and built sometime in the 12th century. It was about 5pm. There was a visitor centre where you could buy tickets to go in the church. I went in to go to the toilet which was downstairs. The lights were out so I had to feel the wall for the switch. Came back up and Tim said the guy is shutting up. We left by the front door and the alarm went off. The guy had only put the alarm on. As we drove away we could still hear it going off in the distant!!
After a while the weather turned bad. We got as far as Seljord and pulled into a roadside stop. In Norway you are allowed to park up off the road and stay for the night in a camper. We both slept well but it didn't go dark all night!
