So I'm still in Varkala which is a really pretty place with quite a boho hippy vibe. Definitely a few people smoking things they shouldn't be! Can't get used to people being able to smoke in restaurants here, I really haven't missed that.

I went for an Ayurvedic massage yesterday which was pretty interesting. It was booked for 4pm so I got there on time thinking it'd start fairly soon after but again forgot I was on Indian time and they kept me waiting for about 20 minutes for no apparent reason. Anyway, I finally had the massage but it was less a massage and more of a drenching in oil and then having a massive rubdown - not the relaxing experience I was hoping for but it was an experience nevertheless!

Felt like a bit of a greaseball afterwards so had two showers to get rid of the oil and then we all went out for dinner at a place called Sky Lounge. The food was really good, definitely one of the best so far but I don't think I've had any bad meals actually. Some people couldn't make it because they weren't feeling too great, I've been ok so far (touch wood) but maybe I shouldn't speak too soon!

This morning I was up at 6am to go for a walk along the cliff which runs parallel to the beach. It was the perfect time to go as the temperature was a lot more manageable. We walked quite a way and saw fisherman going out and also saw some dolphins which was a real highlight.

After working up an appetite we had some breakfast then I had a nap for an hour.

Just chilling out this arvo, doing some window shopping and deciding whether or not to have another beauty treatment as it's dirt cheap, definitely not a massage though!!
