Where I stayed
Today started out with really beautiful waether. I slept in until about 10am. I jumped right back onto US 80. Check out some of the pics of more of the two lane roads I rode.
It was all good until I reached Vickburg!! It was hot and sunny and I pulled over to rest for a bit and get out of the heat. I was eating and checking email when I looked out the window and saw that it was pouring rain. There wasnt a cloud in the sky and it was raining. I hung there at the restaurant until it stopped raining.
After I thought it was safe to do so, I jumped back on the bike and headed west! The cloudless sky lasted all of about 30 minutes when all of a sudden the sky opened up and just dumped on me. I barley made it into a rest stop where I was able to find some shelter. Check out the pics..
After the rain sort of slowed down I put my rain gear on and headed out. The rain had only slowed down for a few minutes until it started raining so hard I couldnt see and my bike started to stall while I was going 70mph. It rained so hard and the wind was blowing so strongly that I was wanted to pull over.
The rain finally stopped. The sun came out and I just about dried off. The nice weather was short lived. It rained again so bad I once again could barley see 50 feet in front of me.
Check out some of the pics I took while I was riding!!!
Tomorrow I plan on visiting the site where Bonnie and Clyde met their fate!!!
