Hi! I just wanted to share the good news with everyone...I received notification this week that I am approved by the USCIS to adopt a child from Malawi  :o)  It is a lot sooner than I expected, so now I am going to try extremely hard to earn enough money to move to Malawi asap.  Once I move there, I need to become a resident, get a house, and then apply for foster care.  If they approve me, I will need to foster a child there for a year and a half before being able to adopt.  If they deny my application for foster care, I will move back to North Carolina and try to adopt a child through the foster care system.  I am moving out of my apartment and will be living with my mom to save some money.  I will also be babysitting a lot more, hopefully most nights, for extra income.  I'll be making and selling chocolate oreo balls again too, as a fund-raiser.  If  you live in NC and are interested in buying some, let me know!!  Hopefully, I will be off to Malawi very soon!
