This morning it rained again and Jim and I finally got to sleep in a bit, although everyone else was up about 6:00 AM to take my sister to the airport for her flight back to San Luis Obispo.  When we woke up Jim talked to his Country Coach advisor, ran some errands and then had to make some fixes to our light system for the "toad" (aka the car "towed" behind an RV!).

In the afternoon the weather turned nice and we tried one of the local mountain bike trails, which my aunt tells me the city of Helena is making a new push to popularize.  It was very pretty but mountain biking is not really for me –

– It's too fast to see much scenery, too much work to be relaxing, and not fast enough to be as much fun as dirt biking!  I did find a few tufts of deer hair for my collection of “natural wonders” though…  Poor thing, I later realized that part of the deer was still on the trail too.  :(  Mountain lions???

After the bike ride, we ate Mexican food in the sun on the deck of Karmadillo's restaurant in Reeder's Alley – a really welcome treat seeing as how we have not seen much sun since we left the Nevada desert!  For dessert we again missed the famed huckleberry ice cream, so unfortunately we will have no choice but to go get this for breakfast tomorrow morning.  ;)
