So after leaving Lisbon we cruised down to the bottom of Portugal to a place called faro. Nice little town has a heap of beaches and a beautiful little harbour area with restaurants and stuff. Oh buy the way every one christmas is now Feburary 2nd in Australia, and this is because on the train on the way to Faro got talking to two girls from the UK and one of them asked me when do we have christmas in Australia. Feburary 2nd sounded reasonable and they said they may spend christmas in Australia one year.

We happened to arrive in town in the midst of there week long folk festival. So every night we would cruise into town and hang out there where street stalls and shows on the stages all night and there was people everywhere. We couldn't understand a word they where saying but you get the jist of what is going on eventually.Faro basically only really consisted of us laying around the pool drinking all day and then heading into town for the festival.

So as for the beaches the only time i actually got to see a beach in faro was when Adam bought a postcard and it did look like a nice beach.
