Day 151 Sat 8th April 2006
The roller coaster ride comes to an end.

I got up at 9am this morning for reasons that still escape me! I had loads of washing to deal with so I got onto it first thing. My white tops are no longer white, they are now 'Cambodian Dirt Red', it's a nice enough shade but I decided to bleach them to try and get them back to normal. I helped the American students plan their day in Bangkok, they only have one day here before heading to the south, it's no where long enough but I pointed them in the direction of most of the sights, I think they will see what they need to. I spent most of the morning sorting out my stuff, what stuff I hear you say, well, just stuff! I called my mum in India, they were unable to extend their tickets so I will only be able to spend one day with my folks. They have arranged for me to be picked up from the airport so that's one thing I don't have to worry about.

In the afternoon Derek and I went over to fortune for lunch and a general look around. I ended up going a bit mad and buying stuff that I really didn't need, an electric tennis bat/Mozi killer thing and a soldering iron amongst other things. In the evening the Karaoke bar across from Madras was in full swing, I managed to record some singing (if you can call it that) for your listening pleasure.

I fly out tomorrow so we decided to go out to Patpong for a final night-out. It was just Derek and I, we had a good enough time. Derek met this really freaky little Thai girl, she was clinging on to him like the kid who won a prize at the funfair. It was all quite funny at first, then it just got stupid!!! He managed to shake her off in the end. We had a good time but both our energy levels were quite low, the roller coaster ride is coming to an end, and it's time to move on to a new place.

Bangkok has been great, I look forward to the next time, but I know it never be as good as this time. I met some great people and made some friends too...its funny how I have had such a great time here (madras) and met so many people, but now on my last night there is only May, Derek, the House-keeper, Boy (the dog), Em and me.
