A day in Abu Dhabi.
So much for the early start! We got up at 11am. Sohban is the housekeeper here, he made us breakfast. Sohban is also from India but further north than us, he comes from Dheradoon. We had planned to go Jet-skiing but missed to time, so we went straight to the Marina Mall, yes another Mall but there is not really much else here! It was supposed to have great views from a terrace overlooking the sea but they had construction work going on, so taxi for that one! After drinks and a walk around we came back to the flat, I needed to get on the net to sort out stuff for Egypt, Bhushan went off for his afternoon nap. After this we went to an authentic Arabic restaurant, we ended up have an INDIAN Biriani! but at least it was in an authentic Arabic Style!!!! (larries) I rang home today and spoke to Sim, Daveena and Mum, the cost of phone calls from here is horrendous! I think I will stick to the net from now. After a nap in the afternoon we went to another Mall... yeah I know another one!
I think this place is a woman's paradise, they have all the shops in the world here! I don't know if the stuff is any cheaper but there's lot's of it! I found the local people a bit brash and cold, they don't seam to understand the significance of a smile.
I am going back to Dubai in the morning to catch my flight to Egypt, I think this is where the adventure will really begin!
