Well Kelowna is a very touristy destination. It has a beautiful lake (Okanagan) that is surrounded on one side with apartments and hotels with their own boat moorings up to the balconies. Lots of boating activities - skiing, etc. Not really our scene, but they did have ducks! The most exciting part was the 2.30am raging argument outside the motel window! Some floral language.
I'm sure Banff will be better.

Stopped on the way to Banff at the Boy's favourite food stop - Timmy's! We had to admit it was a better choice than some and healthier too.
