You could be the person to name one of the panda cubs which survived China's devastating May 12 earthquake.

Southwest China's Kunming city, the capital of Yunnan Province, has opened up a website soliciting suggestions.

Just go to between now and March 4th to submit your favorite name.

The panda cub was a twin born to its 18 year old mother- named Snow- in July of last year. It now weighs 12.4 kilograms.

It is one of 13 cubs born after the earthquake which survived.

Kunming is among eight Chinese cities that earned the right to name a cub because of its financial aid to the Wolong Panda Breeding Base which was damaged in the quake.

The winning name will be announced March 7th.
