Try open another window and listen while reading.

It is so nice not to have to pack up my luggage for another day of driving.  So the plan is to meet my friend Sean for some lunch.  I have known Sean since 1995. We were in the same biology class in high school. I thought he was cute so I started talking to him. I think he thought I was annoying. oh well that happens. whats a girl to do.
Anyway we have been friends for a long long time. I met several people through him. There were some very memorable times back then. Especially in the days before drivers licenses when his father would pick us up from school in the WINNEBAGO and taxi us all home. Sean was so embarrassed about that. I mean how much fun can one have in a Winnebago? A LOT. Put a bunch of highschoolers in there. yep. I wonder now if anyone broke it in.... oh well. sorry Sean.  The group of us (pictured in previous entry) were all in band together, had some great band camp stories..... (pre American pie).  Yes i played the flute. No not the way Allison Hannigan did in the movie. Don't go there.  We have kept in pretty good contact since high school and throughout college. Unfortunately as time goes by you lose contact with everyone else.
We got a great lunch at Papa Gyros. You never have enough time it seems and too soon he had to leave for work.

I headed out to meet up with my pals John and Sallie. I returned for their wedding three years ago.  These two have been together... seemingly forever. 6 years or so. I met them while driving bus for the Old Campus Bus Service up at Kent State.  We all drove the 40" Gilligs shuttling people around campus and then some. We had some good times... great parties... partying with bus drivers. Damn that was cool. ;)  I gotta find some pics of that.
So now those two are domesticated. They have a 5 month old baby boy named Caleb. He is absolutely adorable, a very happy baby.

I met up with Shana and Scott for some happy hour. Shana and I met years ago in college. She went to Bowling Green with my friend Ryan.  After a few necessary visits to Bowling Green, we became close friends. Again plenty of stories from keggers and cross-dressing to A&W house parties and psychotic stalkers.  yeah we all know the type. Her and her fiance Scott came out over a year ago to visit me in Hawaii. Anyway, we met at 7 Martini Lounge, a swank Lil pau hana joint  in Belden Village. Clientele is mostly late 20's - 40's business crowd. Happy hour is half off martinis and sushi/small plates. For those of you from Hawaii... i know what you are thinking.... the sushi wasn't bad alot better than Genki but a reasonable cry from Sansei (now that was delicious sushi).
