(Jana)  We left Zion at 10am and went straight to Hoover Dam.  We didn't take the full tour because it was a 1 1/2 hour wait and it was 104 degrees outside!  We toured the new Visitor's Center and Kevin explained how the dam worked.  Ah, the benefits of having an engineer in the family.

The boys are having a great time.  Today, Tom said "We haven't known any scores or standings in four days.  How is that even possible?"  Goes to show that even the biggest Sox fan can take a break from baseball and still have fun.

We made it to Vegas today.  We looked like the Clampett family walking into New York-New York Hotel today.  We were each carrying a bag of dirty laundry as we hadn't been able to do laundry at the parks.  Once we got to our room, we discovered there's no laundry facility here.  Good thing we stopped at Amish Country, cause we ended up washing some clothes the old fashion way.  "Go With The Flow"

We got back to the room at 11:30pm after walking the strip (wow, the strip is long!).  We took the monorail to the Circus Circus buffet then walked to the Mirage to see the volcano eruption at 10:00pm.  It didn't look that far on the map!  Tomorrow morning Kevin is taking the RV for an oil change and we hope the kids sleep in.  Tomorrow, we plan to see more of the strip, go on the roller coaster that surrounds our hotel, hit the pool, and see a show.  Have a great day everyone.

Okay, Jana, you are in NV. Don't let Kevin take you down Dad's "shorcut" through IOWN, NV through Onion Valley - Do NOT go there! It is a LIE! NOT A SHORT CUT!
