Auntie Betty and Uncle Sang's House

Last night we stayed at Eric's Auntie Betty and Uncle Sang's house a bit south of Phoenix, AZ. We had a lovely dinner of Chinese and Korean food (yum!!!). It was so great to see Auntie and Uncle and for them to meet Eliza. She was in true Eliza form and had us all laughing. She also rolled over a bunch of times. She's started to pull her knees up when she's on her belly. Will we see her crawling soon? So far, it's been great traveling with her. Of course, everything takes longer, but we expected that.

We drove from Phoenix to Winslow, AZ today. We made one pit stop and one detour so our trip took much longer than we thought. Our pit stop was in Camp Verde, AZ. Eric needed to call in to a conference call at work, so we stopped for lunch and then he took the call. Our lunch was the second best pizza we've ever had in our lives. First is New England Pizza House #3 in Chatham, MA. We liked this pizza so much that we went back for seconds. Check it out:  Famous Pizza

So far, we've eaten at a place called "The Hamburger Stand" and "Famous Pizza" and driven by a place called "Bad Ass BBQ Steakhouse".  I wonder what we'll see next -- a place called "Good Place to Eat"?

After munching on yummy pizza, we pressed on to check out breathtaking Sedona. We wanted to check out Red Rock State Park, but we arrived just as it closed (damn conference call!). Instead, we just drove around the town and were still blown away by the red rock scenery. It was a lovely detour on our way up to Winslow. We'd love to come back to Sedona and spend more time there. It's truly another world. Eliza and Rosie slept through it, so they missed it all. They can check out the pictures.

After leaving Sedona, we headed on to Winslow, our next stop.

Sunscreen?
Holy whiteness! Looks like Eliza has been bathed in sunscreen. Way to go Hannah - like those genes you got.

Eric, you need to keep driving. No time for conference calls!
