Hey guys I know I've made sooo many entries on here but just one more i promise!
Today's our last day in Fianar so no more internet until i'm back home. Having an amazing time out here. The weather is beautiful almost everyday even though it's their winter (i'm currently quite sweaty). We've been building a library for the local school for the last 3 weeks and finally finished it on Saturday :) . It was pretty hard work but we had help from our malagasy builders! The food is interesting out here, instead of cows they have zebu, which i actually think is nicer than beef! They also serve up a lot of fish so i've had a fair few hungry days. In the afternoons we've been teaching the local kids (about 160!) about hygiene, malaria etc. As today is our last day we have to make a presentation to the parents to show what they've learnt, it should be pretty funny as most of the kids are doing plays and singing! I've picked up some more french as it's their second language out here as well as some malagasy, which is basically gobbledy gook.
The last couple of days we've had the mornngs off so we visited a children's handicapped hospital and a monestry (with it's own vineyard, of course i had some wine!). Both were great experiences.
Heading to the village tomorrow to join up with the rest of the group and then to Isalo National Park on monday/tuesday. Most of our last week from Weds-Sat is travelling :(
Heard about the trouble going on there, hope you're all ok and staying safe!
Ok, I've got 160 kids that don't speak my language to organise, best be off!
Miss you all, lots of love, see you very soon xxxxxxxx
