ahhh! It's been so long since I've written something.
I had been really busy with work. Everyday from 8-5:30. And I was still teaching English classes some nights.
I'm finally back in the states. Visiting for a month. Then it's back to Costa Rica January 4th.
Completely in reverse culture shock! I can't believe I'm back. Everyone speaks English. I keep accidentally kissing people on the cheek when i meet them or see them out of habit. I've gotten a few looks. Also ordering food and normal daily activities - I'll catch myself trying to speak in Spanish. whoops. It's just weird being back in the states. Good, but weird.

I love seeing all of my friends and family. I love the Christmas decorations! I can't wait to go shopping and look at all of the lights around town. Drink hot chocolate. Go ice skating. Put up the tree. Watch movies. It's going to be a good month back. Looking forward to it.

The past week I've been in Panama visiting the family that hosted me two summers ago. They changed my life. It was amazing seeing them again. Definitely the highlight of my past few months, out of everything I've done. Nothing can top the relationship I have with them. I got to go to a "Panamanian Fair", go to the movies, eat fresa con leche, see old friends, visit the school i worked at 2 summers ago, and most importantly - relax. :)
It's impossible to elaborate on how much they mean to me. Words can't express it in the right way.

All in all, I'm happy. I'm following my dreams. I have to flick myself almost every morning because I still can't believe what I'm doing. I'm so lucky.
