It is already mid-February. I can't believe how fast the time has
gone.  We just went on our winter excursion to Innsbruck, Austria.
We skiied at Axamer Lizum, the same place the winter Olympics were held
in 1976. The whole time I was there I just kept thinking to myself, "I
can't believe I am skiing in the Alps right now." It was a surreal
feeling. The trip was a blast but very exhausting. Snowboarding for
four days on top of keeping track of 40 students on the mountain is
tiring! It was good to get away from the school, be outside in the
fresh air and do something different.

Now it is back to the grind. March is going to be a long month. There
is nothing to break it up, just the same thing week after week. So,
Jinger and I have made a promise to eachother than whenever we have a
break throughout the day together we are going to leave the school and
go into town, weather out to eat, or shopping. Just something to get us
out of the building and keep our sanity intact.

In a little over a week Annie and I are taking a two-day trip to
Ljubljana, Slovenia. That gives me something to look forward to. I have
heard it is a lovely city and worth a quick visit to. But, until then,
I will just work on keeping my head above water and my feet kicking.
