Flew up to Hanoi yesterday morning and I like it a billion times better than Ho Chi Minh, theres much less tramps and poverty here, and it barely smells at all, and theres lots of trees :D We are staying in our first shared room which is pretty interesting, there are 12 of us in the room and unfortunately most of them are really grumpy, baaah.
Today the plan was to see all the sights of Hanoi, but I bailed halfway through as hangovers out here are a billion times worse than normal cos its so hot. So today I had a sleep.. not too cultural but meh. We saw a couple of really cool temples this morning though, which we like as its nice to see how religious everyone is here. I think the majority of people are buddists and they pray using lots of insense and such like, its really calm and buddisty.
Yesterday evening we met up with Chloe which was mint as she has been out here volunteering for a month already so she knew alot of good places to go to so last night was really great.
Off to Halong Bay tomorrow which is like one of the most beautiful bays in the world, we're going on a boat with the big sails on it and we get to jump of and swim, eep.

Love how you judged Hanoi as 'a billion times better than Ho Chi Minh' because
of its lack of tramps & poverty, Han. Not like they can help it ;) :3
