Wednesday was our last day and we started by dropping our luggage off at Cathy and Katrina's hotel before going to the Eiffel Tower, although not up it due to the huge queues. We then jumped on a boat tour along the Seine and got off at Notre Dame for lunch where we had the most amazing meal and an even better waiter who Steven was chatting up. After lunch we checked out the crypts at Notre Dame which was pretty cool.

Our plan was to get back on the boat before going back to Cathy and Katrina’s hotel but it was full and we didn’t have time to wait for the next one so we just caught the metro.

Finding the right metro to get back to the Gare du Nord train station was more difficult but we finally got there and checked in. However, we were then delayed for an hour due to a fire on the Eurostar line. We had visions of being stuck there all night but thankfully it wasn’t that bad. So after another uneventful journey to London, we got the tube to Osterley where we got picked up by my mum.
