It is always good to have your papers in order, Egyptian border guards wanted to know why I got my visa from the consulate in SFO rather than the Embassy in DC. Now how do you answer that kind of thing? Also, never take more luggage than you, yourself can carry all at once. Believe me, they make you carry it and have no carts. One thru the border, there are lots of cabs but our driver found us and prepared us for our trip across the Sinai. Two drivers, a travel guide and an armed guard, gratis of the government. Next time we will fly.
