Later we look around to get our barings, back to see all the places we visited on our last visit. and then make plans for the rest of our stay.
first a walk down the strip. Next door to the Luxor is Excalibur very Disney not our cup of tea, next New York New York as you may gather this is our cup of tea, just one let down, Nine Fine Irishmen bar I have never seen a less Irish like bar, rubish. The Irish are known for their hospitality, totaly absent in this hostilry, I would venture to say a hostile hostilry.
The MGM grand is all you would expect, a grand luxurious hotel. We took a quick look around, easy to get lost.
Next on to the Aladdin, we had orinally planned to stay here but our travel agent had warned us about plans to update, and my were they right, thanks American Holidays.
On to the Paris with it's Eifel Tower an OK hotel but really just another casino.
Across the road to the Bellagio What a great hotel, great shops, great casino and great food.
Caesars Palace So many shops all great, the hotel is well kept not getting tired like so many of the others. we had to visit the Celine Deon shop and purchase a CD of her show for our fried Keith, thank god we are far away from home and know one we know arround to see us.
Next the Venetian my favourite hotel one day we will stay here, the indoor shopping streets, St Marks Square and canal, with full size gondolas all have a realistic sky.
The Treasure Island, Circus Circus and Stratosphere all looking very tired. I was made to feel old in the Stratosphere, at the age of 58 I got my first concession, a half price ride to the top of the tower, what made this worse was I obviously looked old enough for him to ask.
Well walking the strip during the hotest part of the day nessesitated a bus ride back to the Luxor and a freshen up and A nice romantic meal in the hotel.
