Our first Port of Call on our cruise was Cozumel, Mexico. We decided on an excursion to Playa Mia Beach Club. We were shuttled to the beach which was a quick ride with a really nice driver. He was the only person on the entire trip that didn't ask for a tip, so we tipped him fairly well.
At the beach, one price included all-u-can drink Margaritas, Corona, and Rum Punch, a mexican buffet with chips, salsa, quesadillas, fajitas, etc, and lots of "beach toys" . There were also lounge chairs, a pool, and many tables and chairs under a HUGE tent.
The water was amazingly clear and the sand was snow white. The weather was unbelievable! Basically, we spent the first few hours laying in the lounge chairs with a few margaritas, after that we got in the ocean and swam. We had a really great time. There were quite a few people there, but it wasn't terribly crowded either.
After our time was up and we were shuttled back, we went up to our room to change and then returned to the "strip". We walked through a few shops, didn't really buy much and then went to Senior Frogs for lunch/dinner. We had some awesome nachos and Brett took a shot of Tequila (you have to in Mexico, right?). Our server was kinda spacey and didn't return with food/drinks for quite a while, then we had to track him down to pay! We left, were tired, so returned to the ship.
