Today was the day that we packed up and headed to Warren, Vermont and the Claybrook Ski Lodge for the wedding of Katie, Jess's cousin from Boston.

We loaded up the car and because we had no idea of what awaited us at the lodge, we packed coffee and lunch supplies, a cooker and pots and pans into the back of the Odyssey and headed out from Connecticut at 2pm.
This road trip was the first true test for 'Bob' our new GPS that was recently introduced to our family. He showed us very clearly the way to travel to get to Warren, Vermont. Along the way when we got hungry and ready for dinner, Bob helped us to find "5 Olde Tavern and Grill". It was a fantastic dinner in the small town where the Vermont Law School is located. The highlight of the dinner, in my opinion, was the eggplant chips. The kids continued their theme of eating hot dogs and chips everywhere we stop to eat and still seem to enjoy them.

We made it to Claybrook Lodge around 7:30pm and discovered that we were housed in the 'Snow Creek' complex of condominiums. We made our way to the condo which is a stunning little apartment with a view of the ski fields, the room where the wedding will be held and the lodge where the after-party will rock on.  Tomorrow we will be relaxing and playing on the slopes of Sugarbush mountain and getting ready for the party that invariably comes with a wedding.
