Our morning started with a short jaunt to Mulhurst. We stopped at Trike Zone - where we had purchased the Champion trike kit. We were dropping off some parts from our conversion for the core credit. We also dropped off 2 mice that had hitch hiked a ride from Saskatchewan. Awesome selection of trikes and accessories, gold wing, Harley, and BMW. and a chance to check out some trailers. Then it was hitting the road for our days trek to Dawson Creek. First hour was nice, very scenic. Then we hit #43 North to Whitecourt, Valley View and Grand Prairie. Heavy traffic and lots of road construction. Seems like we were forever on the road. Made it to Dawson Creek. Tonight we are in a very nice room. Paul's not feeling any better and the day takes on toll on him. I have done a bit of driving to give him a break. Today as I was driving between Valley View and Grand Prairie we had luminous clouds coming our way. We stopped geared up for rain, Paul took over the driving and we headed into whatever was ahead of us. Well 30 rain drops and we were through it but watching the weather tonight it says Grand Prairie got dumped on so I guess we somehow missed it. We are now at 854 mile or Mile 0 of the
Alaska highway, We are averaging 38 miles to the gallon. A slight drop from the 2 wheeler - but acceptable.
