Beach Hostel

La Paloma is a small beach town with a population of only 3,400. It was just starting to come to life as we were there. During the summer months we are told that thousands descend upon this small beach community.

There are long stretches of nice sandy beaches. The waves are not big enough for surfing, but fine for strong swimmers. Our hostel was situated just across the sandy road from the beach.

We had a great group of people at the hostel, they were from Germany, Austrailia, Canada and USA(Ohio). A few of the organized a wonderful steak and fish BBQ with wine! It was great fun!
