Visited St Andrews, the town where the famous original "Old Course" golf course is. Well it showed its true colours as the weather was windy, rainy, blustery and cold. And there were still people out there playing. The club house is very old and strictly for members only, even the outside benches. It's set on a beach where the waves were hammering in and it's a famous beach because it's where the film "Chariots of Fire" was filmed. Walked along the beach road and saw lots of old hotels and restaurants where we had yummy pea and ham soup with pinnini for lunch. Maureen had haggis in hers and I had a taste. Tasted quite nice. Saw the St Andrews castle which is also build on the beach with big fortifications around it. Went past Northpoint, a cafe where Will and Kate met for coffee as they both attended St Andrews University. Then went for a drive along the coast and drove through Cupar, Lundin Links and Anstruthes, which is where Maureen grew up. Saw houses with a number of chimneys on their rooves.

Comments
We came back last sunday (27 degrees in Greece, 12 in Holland!). First autumn-storm yesterday. Weather in Scotland is a bit the same as here (?), also brrrrr.
I couldn't open your blog in Greece. Just had a (long) look at it. Looks really good, you've allready seen so much!! Can imagine you're enjoying your trip so far! Tomorrow back to Schiphol and the day after to the USA. Enjoy the rest of your worldtrip!
