Left Paris this morning and caught the Eurostar train to London. Quite a precision set up. Swapped stations to across the road to Kings Cross and then boarded my train to Kirkcaldy, Scotland. First class and really looked after with free drinks and food. Got to see the English countryside in sunshine which was good after my gloomy day yesterday. Arrived in Kirkcaldy just after 7pm to be greeted by Maureen who I hadn't seen since 1999. Little chilly but heating in the house so very comfortable. Its good to be in one place for a few days.
