Cruised around downtown Bern today and it is a nice city but quite different from Zurich. I think there is a bit of rivalry between the 2 cities because some people think that Zurich is the capital but Bern is. Parliament House or should I say Parliament Place was a busy spot today. It looked like it was the country being brought to the city. Sheep with bells? I thought it was the cows who wore the bells. I saw some yesterday on my train trip but alas no camera at the ready. Found lots of archways and towers with clocks. If you didn't have a watch you would have no drama checking out the time, but hey aren't the Swiss famous for making watches. Caught the train, yes again, to Geneva this arvo so have nearly come to the end of my stay in Switzerland. Language change again as French is spoken here much more than Zurich and Bern where German is more common.
