We are sooo happy to be back, but of course missing the European life. We had a fablous last few days in Greece. We were short of the place to stay Sunday night in Corinth, so a lady by the name of Elsa took us in! She was the "kebab shop girl" and lived with her 10 year old son. Then we took a day trip to Napflia, and missed the last bus home. ALL our stuff was at Elsa's place. We met these 2 gansters from Synegal who were super nice and showed us where a cheap hotel was. We chatted with them the whole night and they even gave us some of their CDs. It was an adventure!
We loved Santorini with it's gorgeous sunsets and black volcanic beaches. Wow! We roasted in the heat. It was just as we imagined.
Then we started the LOOONG flgiht home...30 hours in transport. We got little sleep, but made all our connections (barely once!). We even saw the Enns in Vancouver for supper.
Europe was fantastic. You can see by our sun kissed faces and new hords of clothing and shoes! We have so many stories, so ask away...
Glad to be home!
