Heathrow First Class Lounge gave us a great European fair - Not as fancy as Toronto, all in all we had a great breakfast at the same time we managed to organcised photo's of our first day for the Blog. After a bit, we caught our flight to Munich at 11:10 am on the Lufthanza airline - the plane was 40 minutes late - arriving in Munich at 2pm - our next flght was late so were were able to catch our connecting flight by the skin of our teeth!! Arrived into the muggy hot Athens air at 6:30 pm - it was already dark, found the train easily enough and took it downtown to our hotel. Jack emailed me the directions to the hotel but I couldn't find any wi-fi for my iphone so we couldn't connect to my email! A good samaritan Greek man who spoke a little bit of English helped us find our hotel and get back onto the train with the correct stop. We arrived at our hotel around 8 pm, with our internal time clock all messed up and checked into the Hotel Attolos - room very was very tiny, but a roof top bar made the evening toddy all the more injoyable - and the view of the Acropolis from the roof-top bar all lit up at night was magnificant to say the least!!!
Our tiny twin beds served us an excellent sleep as we didn't crawl out of our sacks till close to 11 am.
