Where I stayed
I think I had the best sleep ever. I was exhausted.
Jerusalem. The most valuable real estate on earth. Three religions claim it. The architecture has survived thousands of years.
Anyways we had a lovely buffet breaky in the hotel. Everything you could ask for except Bacon and other pig parts. Great start to a beautiful hot day 35c. We hopped into a taxi and went back into the old city. Kotel was closed so we went to the Jewish cemetary. I took a quick peak into the Gardens of Gethsame (that's where Jesus went to meditate before the Romans grabbed him). The olives trees in that garden are over 2000 years old.
Beautiful tour; got sucked in to going to souvenir shop in the Christian quarter. Our taxi driver, Ishmael probably gets a commission. We bought some souvenirs. This travelpod takes too long to post pix so just look on my face book account. We are now all packed up and getting ready to leave the hotel and go to our next destination.
Heading south towards Eilat. First, we will stop atThe dead sea or la mer de morte area. We're staying at a log cabin in a Moshav. So I'll check in later with more pix around suppertime.
Having a blast wish you were here. Love you all.
