A day of rest a stroll through residential neighborhoods and parks until we arrive at the Congreso Buenos Aires (the National Argentinian Congress). On a restful day like today, it was perfect to at last stroll down and give justice to it by becoming posers. We did not attempt a photographer's photo of the grandeur of the buildings behind us, and the fountain and statues in front of us. There are so many of those in the guide books and on the web for others to see and with which we could not compete.  Well, except for the lead photo here of its dome, I is gosh darn proud of that one, it came out goodly.

Later that evening after sitting at home curled up with a good book and dining on fruit, I surprised Ingrid by suggesting we go for a midnight stroll and join the 'natives'. She loved the idea and arm locked through arm, off we went. After 10 or 15 minutes, I suggested a local Mexican restaurant .. just to say we did it, a midnight meal, indigestion or not! For the rest of this restful day, we rest on knowing that all of the photos we took of the sites, sounds, smells, tastes, laughs, falls/spills, woes/ills and all that life-cycle stuff of any person's day on vacation, is loaded, or will be loaded, or might be loaded on other pages of this blog and you can bloody well look for them there, cause I've had it with this attempt at sticking my fingers between these little plastic doodads with letters and numbers imprinted them. Good night... I have a sunglow to gloat about as I count Argentinian sheep entering a frying pan for me.
