First stop Amberlee Hot springs, just down the road, after a short walk Thermal Springs, in we hopped - umm 32deg and fantastic but it was very hard to get out, o well off again - bloody aweful roads.
16ks then left towards the middle of the Gibb, then up to Drysdale.
The road was a shocker, bump, rut, bump rock, rut and so on, a bit of a river crossing and more bumps rock, ruts and on and on and on.
Arrr right turn to Drysdale only 59ks, 6 hours later and 320ks we were there - not much there at all except a nice hot shower, and the last one for 3 days as we found out.
We topped up our fuel tanks $2.05 per litre, lucky I took a couple of jerry cans of diesel, we will use those later.
Early night as we were all buggered, dusty and beaten up by the road. Lights out at 7pm.
