Woke up to a great breakfast with chocolate cake included. Wheeled out of the hotel parking lot, into a service station and met up with a Brazillion bikers (3 couples from Brazil). Had coffee, took pictures, exchanged conversation, laughs and e-mail addresses. Got lots of hugs and kisses from all (Leo even got hugs from the guys). Motorcycle language breaks all barriers. Today is the first day we've seen natural greenery (scrubby shrubbery and cacti) in 9 days. Everything looks so dirty from wind blown debris and dust, without a natural rain wash. It never rains here. Observatories are a common sight due to the clarity of the sky as there are no clouds and lots of fresh ocean breeze. Solar panels face North and the moon is upside down, laying on it's face. We were on a double lane highway today with good signage, but hotel rooms are very hard to find or non existant due to lack of tourism and industry, we guess. Another great day in the saddle...
