Day 40 - Popayan to Pasto Colombia

On the road a little later today at 9. Stopped for gas and had the bikes hand washed for $1.75 ea. This is the first washing in 12,000 km. There are not a lot of events to report today. Unless, I could find a way to explain breathtaking landscape and a dream road for bikers. The PanAm had us in awe all day. What a road. We stopped here just shy of the Ecuador border so we can cross as early as possible in the morning.
