Day 26 - Crossed the border into Costa Rica without incident with the guidance of our helper. He too, was informed ahead of time by our previous border crossing guys. We were having breakfast just a few kms from customs when a man walked up and asked us if we were Leo and Cheryl. Another freaky moment. Things that make you go wow when you're trying to have breakfast in Nicaragua (Nicawagwa). The standard of living seems to be better here from what little we've seen. Beautiful flowers (Bird of Paradise) on the side of the road and colorful birds fly past as we drive. The vegetation is very lush with huge trees covering the entire road. We finally found a very nice place on the beach with internet service and many other amenities we haven't seen in a few days.
Day 27 - We are staying here for another day. Thank you everyone for your comments. This is the first chance we've had to actually go through them all. It means so much that you are with us.

Have a great time in Costa Rica. I loved my time there and I know you will too. Try out the beef, it is so sweet. Everyone was so nice there, lots of Canadians, Germans, Swiss, Americans, etc. have set up shop there. If you are in Playa de Coco, check out Papa Guayos(spelling??). Great place to eat and listen to music. Take care. Love, Sue
