From Frank

Though we've been in India since Saturday night, it seems like today was our first actual day there. Once we worked through the musky, muggy (other words beginning with "m" and ending with "y," except, perhaps, "mushy") weather of Bombay and the heavier fog of jetlag, it now finally feels like we're here. On Sunday, we traveled to the city of Baroda in Gujarat, where we were promptly greeted with hospitality at its finest. This involved nearly an entire bouquet of flowers around our necks, along with markings on our foreheads to bid us welcome and bring us good fortune. I'll have to try that when I return to work, if only to make my office smell better.

Following our introduction to members of Baroda's various Rotary clubs, we went on a tour of several city museums, as well as the Maharaja's palace. We encountered some monkeys along the way, and I'm glad to finally use that sentence in a literal sense. On Monday, we visited a school for disabled children and a hospital complex that has managed to make "affordable health care" much more than an oxymoron. Both were enriching experiences, and more details and photos are forthcoming. I'm somewhat pressed for time at the moment, so I'll draw this entry to a close. Till next time.

Frank's entry
The description of your travels sound fascinating and
I wish I was there! Perhaps just going back into your office after visiting India will give a natural floral scent to your office. Don't forget to give them all dots as well.
