Today we headed over the mountain from Fauske to Mo I Rana. On the way we stopped at a national park in the Junkerdalen Valley. We toured the facility learning about local wildlife and trying to learn how to lasso a reindeer (a fake one) Mason was the only one to succeed.
Next, we continued to the Arctic Circle marker. We have been in the circle since we arrived. Now we will leave it for several days. However, according to Kare and Rolf, we needed to be baptized, which was carried out by Kare by putting a handful of snow down each of our shirts. We also received a certificate for having crossed the circle.
At 6:30 pm we were met by our hosts from the Mo I Rana clubs and transported to the city to meet our new hosts. My host until Sunday is Sven, who has a really cool new house. We had a quick beer, then sat down with his Daughter Sandra and her boyfriend for a great meal of Reindeer with a creamy mushroom sauce and mashed poatoes.
