Day 10
Santorini/Mykonos, Greece
4/15/09

Today we go to Mykonos. In the morning while we are still in Santorini we meet up with two Simians and Sophia and had crepes with nutella and bananas at the NRG café also we had freshly squeezed orange juice that was made right in front of us. Then we went home and got our language and drove down to the dock. There we waited for an hour and a half or so and met a really nice couple from Brazil. When we boarded I could barely stay on my feet it was so rocky. The boat went back and forth and side to side. For a while I tried to read and blog but that did not work everyone on the boat was vomiting and I was worried I would to so I took a dramamim kids and went to sleep. Half was through I woke up on the floor with a boat attendant trying to get my attention because I was laying in someone's seat (oopies) when the boat docked Foffi (the lady who owns the apartment in Athens) came to meet us because we are staying in her house in Myknosos. We get settled in. Her apartment has yet again a beautiful view of the ocean and the windmills. We meet her next-door neighbor who is 8 and her name is Alia she is Greek and has almost perfect English she speaks in a British accent and is sounds very Italian. We have dinner with them and play with her friends (I watch). Now I am going to bed. Night or should I say good day!

Day 11
Mykonos, Greece
Tuesday 4/16/09

(see delos entry)After Delos we took the boat back home and stopped by a little café and got a ham and cheese sandwich. Then we took a cab to the Paranga beach. The beach was a little slice of the Caribbean it had clear blue waters and beautiful sand it was amazing. We saw Alia with her friend there so we left her alone. Towards the end Foffi came down with Alia's dad and we freaked out because we had her towel with us but I don't think she noticed.

Tonight we went and ate at a restaurant called the Sea Satin. Foffi is the manager of it, we had shrimp and fish and zucchini fries. It was awesome, we were so close to the ocean that it felt like we were on on a boat. After dinner my mom and me went out for dessert we got hot chocolate and my mom got wine. We got lost after words but ended up listening to the end of an Easter service in some alley way it was magical. I am so tired so I have to go to bed talk to you later!!
